Our Story
How DriRun was born
DriRun founder, Laura returned to running after becoming a mum and found that she was experiencing heavy bladder leaks. She tried everything to save her embarrassment.
She was frustrated that disposable pads chafed and reusable pants overflowed. The trial and error was expensive, painful and disappointing, and she never found protection that was reliable and comfortable.
Always curious, Laura decided to develop one herself.
Every time she returned from a run, her husband would ask, “Was it a dry run?” And eventually, it was.
For the first time in years, Laura ran with confidence. She was free from leak anxiety, chafing and the toxic chemicals that are found in disposable pads.
Now, she wants to package that feeling and help others feel the same.

Our innovation
Laura has been developing DriRun for four years.
Crowdfunding, researching, sourcing fabric innovation and testing the construction.
She has taken a stand for women who have to choose disposable pads as the only reliable protection available, but they are shown to contain substances that harm reproductive health.
DriRun uses the power of social media to leverage same-day feedback that has shaped product benefits; for example, Laura made it quick to dry in the microwave after it’s washed and asked followers, who voted against it.

Our standards
All DriRun products go through lab testing to validate functions like absorbency and lifecycle. Our garments are tested to ensure they are leak-proof to 52 washes.
We believe in sharing diverse bodies in our marketing, destigmatising bodily leaks and promoting equality and inclusion for all people.
